Nights 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

The House Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management and planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary staff; and responding to the needs of patients and their families.

Here's what we are looking for:

Education

  • Associate’s Degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred

Licenses/Certifications

  • BLS - CPR Card from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire
  • Valid RN State Licensure

Experience

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of nursing experience as a RN in an acute care and/or post-acute care environment required
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a house supervisor role required, preferably in an acute care setting
  • Experience with federal, state and local rules/regulations, Joint Commission, and Regulatory Compliance required

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective written, and oral communication skills

WORK SCHEDULE: Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays and on- call rotation as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
