The Director of Business Development (DBD) is responsible for leading the business development and admissions function for Bridgemoore Transitional Care (BTC). This includes partnering with hospitals, health plans and managed care organizations. The DBD will identify opportunities to promote awareness and build the presence of BTC in the local community and partner with other transitional care entities to ensure continued and coordinated care after discharge from BTC.

The Director will create a local strategy and will call on hospital networks, physicians, and surgery centers to build community relations with the BTC. This role will manage the Admissions Director and Clinical Transition Liaison and will cross train to provide functions when needed.

Here is what we are looking for:

  • At least five years of experience in sales or marketing within the local hospital and medical community.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must possess proven track record of sales within healthcare
  • Excellent  written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with value-based payment models –their  objectives, and strategies
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Proficient with computers and ability to use automated processes
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Successful completion of accredited Food Handler’s Training Course within sixty (60 days) of employment
